MCDC values strong family partnerships to support children's growth and development. Our curriculums embrace diverse backgrounds and recognize parents as children's first and most important teachers.
We engage families through developmentally appropriate activities that strengthen the home-school connection and create opportunities for parents to bond with their children. Quality time and meaningful conversations among parents, children, and staff are essential to MCDC's culture.
Families are encouraged to participate in center governance through our Policy Council, Parent Center Committees, and other agency-wide committees. These leadership opportunities allow parents and guardians to shape programs and policies.
Parents are welcome to visit or volunteer at any time. We maintain an open-door policy and encourage family involvement in all aspects of our program.
